The babies were at the crib, as I was strapped in with one of them to my back. Ha! The home was beginning to look nice, but there were a few things to be done. It would take lots of time and a love to shop. In order to stay within the budget, I started by taking my sons to estate sales looking for of diamonds. It was our weekly routine to visit garage sales and auctions on the weekend as well as purchase various of old pieces and new constructed. I'd spend my workdays on the drive either painting or sanding. It was kind of like the following... Here is the place where my passion for restoring antique furniture started. I kept on restoring furniture, even after having decorated our house. In the market in town I set up a little space and sold some items. I could outgrow the area because I had numerous pieces I could use. My home was where I began hosting open houses where more than 1000 guests could visit to purchase anything they wanted from the first floor within a single weekend. My business Growing Days began here. My company was flourishing however my family was also growing. I was balancing the demands of what it was like starting a new venture as well as a mother too. Growing Days seemed like the ideal match. It was in 2013 when my sweet daughter Nora came along our 4th kiddo. Although I was happy with the direction that my business took, I felt like I was in need of an occasional break. I decided to step back to spend time at home, with my kids. This was precisely what I wanted. After a few minutes the phone started ringing. I began receiving calls from people asking me for help in home improvement as well as interior design. They were mostly people that came to my home to purchase furniture. In the following months, I began to take on clients at my own speed. In the end, I had many customers and was operating an enterprise of renovations to homes. Most likely, I'd have laughed had somebody had informed me that my company was to become the premise of an upcoming tv program in the DIY Network. It's funny to think back about the idea.
