Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first minute. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a pro. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was beaten by a majority vote.
