Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and was raised within Castle Rock Colorado. Mid-1990s, she started doing professional dance and performance at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined an area theatre in Minnesota where she was cast in a documentary mock-up concerning beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her debut as a screen actress was a bright-eyed but sweet contestant. Then, she relocated her home to Los Angeles in order to explore a career as an actress. The the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her film career during the latter half of 1940s. The decade following, she appeared in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
