Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta from her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. In the early years, her father was interested in theatre. While studying at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, was a part of the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. In 1955, the couple tied the knot and their son Eric Anthony was born. After 1957, the couple resigned from the military and Walter entered Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. Within this period, they also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
